FiFi and Dolly
And now a litte bit more about my little shop...
Once upon a time, Fifi and Dolly were nicknames my mother and I had for one another. After we said goodbye a few years ago, I started searching for ways to keep the memory of our conversations and caring alive in my daily routine.
Fifi, a hardworking, practical nurse, was the kind of person who didn't always think she had time or interest in art, so it became my secret creative mission to try and catch her eye with my playful illustrations... my dream was to express to her how Art was my way of showing I care...
So, here, in this shop, I hope to keep my secret mission alive by winning over the hearts and minds of anyone out there who might find their way to this page. Because if you do choose to make one of my prints a gift for someone special, or make my art part of your home, my wish would be for it to infuse your space with all the warmth and love it was born out of, because as Fifi always said:
“You are kind, you are smart, you are cherished, and you deserve good things.”
